About Animal Care

These are some of the lives that have been changed
by the animal care fund.

The Animal Care Fund is a donor fund within Animal Care & Control of NYC.

AC&C takes in and cares for 43,000 homeless animals each year that have no other place to go. Animal Care is dedicated to raising funds to create a comfortable and happy environment for the animals in the Centers and to end the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable dogs and cats.

The money raised from your generous contributions will allow us to purchase blankets, toys, hire dog walkers, purchase cat condo and dog runs and make much needed facility repairs.

Remembering Friends and Family

A gift to AC&C is a meaningful way to honor the memory of a beloved pet. When your gift is received, AC&C will send an elegant card to the person you designate, expressing your sympathy. You will also receive acknowledgment of your tax-deductible gift. Minimum donation: $25.00
AC&C is a nonprofit organization (501(c)(3)), and all donations are tax deductible in accordance with IRS guidelines. A copy of the latest annual financial report and registration filed by this organization may be obtained from AC&C or from the office of the Attorney General by writing: The Charities Bureau, 120 Broadway, New York, NY 10271.

Please ask your Human Resources department if your gift to AC&C can be increased by a matching gift from your employer.
